As the role of global trade becomes increasingly important to the world’s economies, JETRO Los Angeles and the USC Marshall School of Business are pleased to co-sponsor the Asia Pacific Economic Integration Forum, Friday June 10 from 2 PM – 5:30 PM at The L.A. Hotel in downtown.
Please join us as we discuss the many opportunities, challenges and difficulties facing business and political leaders in Asia and the United States as they strive to further integrate and consolidate bilateral trade relationships through increased cooperation and alliances.
Our keynote speaker Mr. Hiroyuki Ishige, Chairman of JETRO and other featured speakers and panel discussion members will give their informed assessment of the future role of trade agreements, greater regional integration and the prospects of the passage of TPP and its effect on member nations.
As the passage of TPP draws increasing interest and controversy in the U.S., this Forum will also give the perspective of Japan and other ASEAN nations affected by TPP and also the looming influence of China in TPP negotiations and regional collaboration.
Our speakers, drawn from both the private and public sectors, government officials and business leaders, will share their views on the importance of the TPP and the roles that Japan and the U.S. will play in the future of Asian economic development.
