Christopher Gopal is a results-oriented, highly experienced supply chain and operations executive with over 35 years of experience in global supply chain management, logistics and information technologies. His career has encompassed executive line management, consulting across both large and small companies, as well as several startups.
Dr. Gopal previously served as a member of the Defense Business Board (DBB) in Washington, and is the Strategic Solutions Advisor for OCXCognition, a firm that focuses on optimizing the Customer Experience through an integrated business and supply chain approach.
Chris has developed strategies and executed for world-class results, built and run world-class consulting practices, and has helped develop new supply chain constructs and consulting methods.
He currently consults with companies to get results and solve problems. He leads and helps in innovating and improving business processes, developing and implementing supply chain strategies and technologies across the customer life cycle experience. He conducts innovation and executive education workshops for companies to address specific problems, processes and strategies in today’s changing global business, omnichannel and digital environment.
Chris is recognized as an innovator and thought leader in the field of global supply chain & operations management, is a frequent invited speaker and panelist at leading forums, and is the co-author of three books, including “Supercharging Supply Chains: Creating Shareholder Value through Operations Excellence”.
Chris is a Board member of the Global Supply Chain Management Center at the University of Southern California (USC), and teaches at USC. He also teaches at the University of California, San Diego and works with the UCSD Institute of Supply Excellence and Innovation. He serves as an advisor to various companies.
Dr. Gopal holds a PhD from the University of Southern California and an MBA from the Cranfield School of Management, UK.
